As a certified Barton Reading & Spelling tutor and parent of struggling readers, I understand both the professional and personal sides of learning challenges. I've seen firsthand how the right instruction can transform a student's confidence and academic trajectory.
My journey into specialized literacy instruction began when my own children needed support that traditional classroom settings couldn't provide. This personal experience drives my commitment to helping every student discover their potential.
I'm fully certified in the Barton Reading & Spelling System (Levels 1-10) and trained in Slingerland screening. I combine evidence-based methods with a deep understanding of the emotional and academic needs of struggling learners.
Whether working one-on-one or in small groups, my goal is always the same: to help students build skills, confidence, and a love of learning that will serve them for life.

Fully certified in the Barton Reading & Spelling System, Levels 1-10. Specialized training in multisensory, structured literacy instruction.

Trained in Slingerland screening methods for early identification of students at risk for reading difficulties.
